Blue Ridge Beef

Blue Ridge Beef has issued a voluntarily recall for two (2) frozen products. These products may be contaminated with Salmonella and/or Listeria monocytogenes.

The affected products were distributed to retail stores in six different states (NC, SC, GA, FL, AZ, and TX). The recalled products are sold in 2 lb chubs and can be identified by the following identifiers:

Beef Ridge Beef - Beef for Dogs

  • UPC Code: 8542980011009

Beef Ridge Beef - Kitten Grind

  • Lot Code: mfd ga81216
  • UPC Code: 854298001016

The FDA has received two complains regarding the recalled products. One puppy death and two kitten illnesses were reported to the FDA. As of right now, no direct evidence has linked these instances to the contaminated product.

Please discontinue feeding the affected products immediately. You may return the recalled products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
